About Camp:
The Running Academy
We aim to educate and motivate young male and female distance runners. We believe that all runners can improve and achieve their goals through hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude.
Campers will participate in two runs per day in and around Camp Wah-nee in Torrington, CT. Wah-nee is a premier camp facility, with a lake, a pool, shower facilities in each cabin, a weight room and plenty of indoor and outdoor meeting facilities.
The Running Academy features lectures and motivational talks from world-class runners, coaches, sports medicine personnel, and some of the top college runners in the nation.
To be eligible to attend, campers must be entering 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade.
